Typing in the first few characters of the tenant’s last name will display all matches at the top of the list.
The Tenant Unit form contains all tenants that rent a particular unit as will as lease information that is needed to calculate payments and manage the unit. Rent and late payment penalties may be established independently for each unit.
Late payment penalty charges may be based on: a fixed amount, a percentage, base plus daily (this is a fixed amount late charge plus a specified amount for each day the tenant is late), manual (allows you to specify the amount).
Other key information is the beginning and ending dates of the lease. The tenant’s rent deposit etc.
The Billing Notes field allows you to enter information that will be printed on the tenant receipts and invoices. For example if you wanted a breakdown of charges for a tenant, it might contain:
Rent $750
Utilities $150
Carport $50The "Tenant Payment Amount" field would contain the total of these ($950).
